No more leaks at Rowan

We are delighted to announce that we will have no more leaky roofs at Rowan. For the past few years, we have often found ourselves at the mercy of the weather, occasionally needing to close our doors to students. However, those challenges are now a thing of the past, thanks to our newly installed roof. Additionally, the new air conditioning has been a true lifesaver during this hot weather! Recently, we hosted a celebratory barbecue at the Rowan Arts Centre, inviting students, friends, family, and volunteers to raise a glass in honour of the completed work, ensuring the future of our building for many years to come! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the festivities. The barbecue was sizzling, the dance moves were in full swing (thanks to student artist Ashley), and it was a delight to celebrate alongside everyone.

A huge thank you is for the UK Government’s Community Ownership Fund and our supporters, who played a vital role in helping us raise the necessary funds for this project. We truly could not have accomplished this without your support. Find out more about us and upcoming events here.
