Commissions and current projects

Rowan has a strong social enterprise ethos, and our artists and tutors enjoy taking on bespoke projects, working closely with individual customers and organisations. All income generated from commissions goes towards the day-to-day running of the arts centre. 

We have a collaborative approach to commissions, taking full account of your individual needs and wishes from first brief to delivery. We generally start off with an in-depth conversation (in situ if appropriate) discussing ideas and options. With this information we can provide you with a quote and timeline. You will be kept updated with progress reports and images during the design and production phase. Once the work is finalised, we will arrange for a collection or delivery and installation date. For larger public commissions, we may organise a fieldtrip visit with Rowan artists and staff to celebrate the completion of the project. 

As with all Rowan artwork, our artists excel at creating unique designs with a quality finish, providing an exceptional focal point in any environment.
