A long-lasting gift
Volunteer and friend of Rowan Paula Smith had a special request of the woodwork team for a unique commission of five beautiful wooden boards.
‘I was delighted with the boards when I went to pick them up from Rowan. Alastair had done an amazing job and wrapped them beautifully for transport home.
‘I ordered the boards as “thank you” presents to friends due to give my husband and I hospitality as we travelled round Europe. It was an overdue trip further delayed by COVID. Everyone appreciated their gift. What is it about wood? Everyone has to touch it and feel it, such a tactile material. No doubt they will last a long time and remind them of our visit.
