Whether you’ve always wanted to draw, have lapsed and want to find your way back, or are simply looking for some dedicated creative time, this course offers a genuinely relaxed space to develop your practice. There’s no pressure to produce certain results — just the time, support and techniques to help you draw with more confidence and enjoyment.
Through observational drawing exercises, you’ll learn to really look at what’s in front of you and translate it onto the page. Each session introduces different techniques and approaches, building your skills gently and giving you a toolkit you can take away and use independently.
Ann and Miranda bring very different backgrounds to the course — and between them, a remarkable breadth of experience. Expect fun, engaging exercises designed to get you drawing freely and unselfconsciously, alongside technical guidance for those who want to dig deeper.
This course is open to all levels — complete beginners and returning drawers alike are warmly welcome.
