In this 4-week course, you’ll be introduced to the full screenprinting process — from planning and preparing your design through to mixing inks, setting up your screen, and pulling your own vibrant, original prints. Working step by step, you’ll build the practical skills and confidence to create a body of work that’s bold, expressive and entirely your own.

No experience is needed — just bring your ideas, or images of things you love as a starting point. By the end of the course, you’ll have a collection of finished prints to take home, along with the know-how to keep printing well beyond the classroom.

Adam Bridgland is a Cambridge-based artist and printmaker known for combining nostalgia and wit, drawing on the visual language of paint-by-numbers kits, transport posters and childhood colouring books. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, his work is held in the collections of The British Museum and the V&A, and he has completed projects for organisations including the V&A, Cambridge United Football Club, David Parr House and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Adam has run a number of popular screenprinting workshops across Cambridge, including sessions at David Parr House — bringing the same warmth and hands-on approach to every session he teaches.
