Darcie engaged with The Painted Church project, liking the repeated patterns in the wallpaper, but Darcie’s work comes from the Hindu culture of bright colours, gold and lots of bling! Using ready made and cut stencils for her to press paint into and these were superimposed on bright collages which she made before. Playing Bollywood and Bhangra music to set up the mood of loud dance music and bright colours.
