Walk for Rowan success

THANK YOU to everyone who turned out for our Community Walk for Rowan. It is always such a wonderful event and this year was no different. With the sun coming through, great company and a sneaky treat at the end. We were so pleased to show everyone our new logo which we will be using throughout 2024 to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

With over £2600 already raised and donations still coming in we are over the moon with everyone’s support.

“We were delighted with the turnout for this year’s Walk for Rowan” said Rowan’s Chief Executive Officer Cherie Evans. “We would like to say thank you to everyone who attended as well as the staff at Jesus Green Outdoor Pool for hosting for tea and cake from the CamCatSol Café. It was wonderful to speak to Rowan’s supporters as well as welcoming the Cambridge Mayor Cllr Jenny Gawthrope. Thanks to the volunteers from Cambridge Rotary Club for stewarding the event and to our sponsors Martin & Co Cambridge.”

I was very happy to come along, meet and enjoy the walk with supporters and friends of Rowan and enjoy the cake and coffee afterwards” said Cambridge Mayor Cllr Jenny Gawthrope.  Rowan is a great local charity here in Cambridge serving the community, with a lovely atmosphere and so valuable for its clients.
